Eye care: the secrets of a charming look
In order for your eyes to suffer less from fatigue and tension, put compresses of tea or herbs used for infusions on your eyes.
It will be useful for eyes if you rub your palms together intensely and put them on your eyes for a few minutes. Then sit quietly and relaxed in this position. Try it! You will be very satisfied!
Dear women, I advise you to wash your eyes with strong tea every day. This removes fatigue, redness of the eyelids. Lotions of lime blossom and chamomile (one tablespoon per cup of boiling water) will help to preserve the brilliance of the eyes. And for us, women, it is so necessary! Dairy compresses effectively eliminate inflammation: put a tampon soaked in milk on closed eyes for 4-5 minutes. Then rinse with water and dry. Apply a fat cream around the eyes. So how? Do you like yourself?
Getting rid of bags under the eyes and swelling
If you have bags under the eyes and swelling of the eyelids, it can be the result of various internal diseases. But often they appear in practically healthy people. Compresses from the infusion of sage are very effective.
Brew a teaspoon … a spoonful of sage for half a glass of boiling water and hold it under the lid for 10 minutes. Cool one part and heat the other. Alternately apply to the eyes for 5-10 minutes compresses of hot and cold decoctions of sage. It is better to do this procedure before bedtime.
Well, remove puffiness under eyes of a mask from crude grated potatoes, applied in the morning and in the evening. Peeled, washed and dried potatoes should be grated on a fine grater in the amount of two tablespoons and immediately put on the pre-prepared pieces of gauze to the lower part of the eye (on the “bags”)
so that gauze remains on top of the potatoes. Hold for 10-15 minutes. After removing the mask, apply a cream with vitamins A and E, barely touching the skin, in the direction from the inner incision of the eye along the lower eyelid to the temples. After 15-20 minutes with a cotton swab dipped in cold tea, you need to remove the excess cream.
A parsley leaf mask also provides an excellent effect: finely chop the fresh green parsley leaves. Put on the bags under the eyes and swollen eyelids, cover with a wet tampon and leave for 10-15 minutes (do not forget about the test for allergies!)
Finely chopped leaves and stalks of parsley (one teaspoon), stir with sour cream (two teaspoons). Apply the mask on the eyelids for 15-20 minutes. Then rinse your face with water and apply the cream.
HOW IT IS CORRECT TO CARE OUT OF THE DOG’S EYES
BREEDS OF DOGS NEEDING SPECIAL EYE CARE
There are several breeds of dogs that require special care in the eye area.
Animals with short, flattened face. These are pugs, Pekingese, Japanese quins. Due to the special structure of the muzzle in these species in the nasal folds are collected discharge from the eyes, causing skin irritation.
Pets “loose” constitution, with the breed inversion or eversion age. This group is represented by shapes, basset hounds, cocker spaniels, a bloodhound.
Dogs with long hair on the face and “chelochkoy”: Shih Tzu, terriers, schnauzers. Dense hair covering the face provokes the accumulation of dirt and discharge from the eyes.
Pets included in the first group are recommended to constantly clean their eyes. Pets that have an entanglement may need frequent moisturizing of the eyes and even surgery. They are more susceptible to the development of keratitis (inflammation of the cornea of the eyeballs), drying of the cornea, and subsequently partial or complete loss of vision. For dogs that have a pedigree “cheloku”, need haircut hair on the face or special hairpins that prevent hair from getting into the eyes.
DISTRIBUTED PROBLEMS OF DOG EYES
The eyes are the most vulnerable organ of the dog. Often, pets have problems associated with:
with eye injuries;
ingress of foreign bodies into them;
swelling and inflammation, copious secretions;
deterioration of visual function.
If the dog begins to rub its eyes hard with paws, a swelling occurs around them, and the eyeballs themselves turn red, this is most often associated with the ingress of small foreign objects in them. The pet is not capable of pulling out the foreign body on its own.
In this situation, the owner of the animal will need:
try to detect a small object in the dog’s eye. To do this, hold the dog’s face between its knees and gently open the eyelids;
in the case of contact with the organs of sight of a visible foreign object, gently rinse the animal’s eyes with boiled or distilled water, dripping it with an eye dropper.
If you delay the eyelid, a foreign body can go out independently. It is not recommended to use tampons or cotton buds – this can seriously damage the cornea.
If you could not cope with the problem yourself, you should immediately call a veterinarian to the house or go to the clinic.
You should remember the rules that will help your pet to maintain vision.
Any abnormal discharge, purulent, mucous or bloody, is the basis for a visit to the veterinarian.
Any injury to the eye area, including a blow, scratch or bite, is a reason for an urgent visit to the veterinarian.
Any visible changes in the sclera, cornea or mucous membrane (opacities, reddening, the appearance of strange spots, impaired transparency) are grounds for a visit to the veterinarian.
HOW TO CARE OUT OF THE DOG’S EYES
Regular care will allow you to maintain the health and shine of the dog’s eyes for a long time. To maintain the normal state of the organs of vision, it is necessary to perform simple actions:
periodically eliminate accumulations in the corners of the eyes using sterile gauze moistened with saline, boiled water or special care products;
a separate gauze pad should be used for each eye, moving as it is being cleaned from the outer corners of the eyes to the nose.
Cotton swabs should not be used – their fibers are able to fall on the mucous membranes and provoke irritation. Pressed cotton pads will do.
USEFUL RECOMMENDATIONS OF SPECIALISTS
One of the preparations for the care of the eyes of the pet are drops “Bars”. Experts recommend using this product for both preventive and therapeutic purposes (with the development of keratitis, conjunctivitis, blepharitis). The tool helps to avoid the consequences of injuries in the field of organs of vision, to reduce the risk of infection if foreign bodies get into the eyes. Drops should not be used for routine daily processing.
Before applying the drops, you must pre-hygienic treatment of the outer part of the eyelids with a sterile gauze cloth moistened with the preparation. Instillation is carried out in the conjunctival cavity (1-2 drops 3-4 times a day for 7-14 days). In order to prevent the contamination of the eyes and ingestion of foreign bodies hygienic eye treatment is carried out once in 24 hours.
It should be remembered that prophylactic eye treatment only slows down the proliferation of bacteria that necessarily enter the conjunctival cavity during an injury. A visit to the doctor does not cancel such actions.
